Job Description

The Event Operation Executive plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of events from conception through to completion. This position is responsible for coordinating all logistical aspects of events, liaising with clients and suppliers, and ensuring that each event runs smoothly and efficiently. The role requires an individual who is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously. An Event Operation Executive must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be adept at problem-solving. This position offers the opportunity to work on a wide variety of events, from corporate meetings to major exhibitions, requiring flexibility, adaptability, and a passion for delivering excellence. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all aspects of event operations to ensure seamless execution and client satisfaction.
  • Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and objectives for each event.
  • Develop detailed event plans, including timelines, budgets, and logistical needs.
  • Manage relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure high-quality outcomes.
  • Supervise event personnel and coordinate onsite activities during events.
  • Conduct pre-event briefings with staff to clarify roles and expectations.
  • Monitor event activities and resolve any issues that arise in a timely manner.
  • Work collaboratively with the marketing team to promote events and increase attendance.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and make improvements for future events.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations throughout event operations.
  • Maintain thorough records and reports related to all aspects of event operations.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and innovations to enhance event offerings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in event planning or operations management.
  • Exceptional organizational skills to coordinate multiple projects effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective client interaction.
  • Proficiency in event management software and tools is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and negotiate with vendors successfully.
  • Problem-solving skills to address and resolve unexpected issues seamlessly.
