Job Description

An ERP Implementation Engineer plays a critical role in deploying integrated software solutions that streamline business processes within an organization. The professional is responsible for tailoring ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics to suit the unique needs of the business. This involves careful planning, requirement analysis, system configuration, user training, and ongoing support. As an ERP Implementation Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the ERP system aligns with business goals and enhances operational efficiency. Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed requirements analysis to tailor ERP systems according to business needs.
  • Develop and implement project plans ensuring timely and successful completion.
  • Configure ERP systems based on thorough understanding of the client's functional needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to configure workflows as per specifications.
  • Provide technical support during and after the ERP implementation process.
  • Coordinate and conduct training sessions for end-users to ensure effective system use.
  • Document business processes and create custom reports as needed by the client.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues during the testing and migration phases.
  • Facilitate communication between IT and business to align ERP applications with business strategy.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and updates in ERP technologies and methodologies.
  • Ensure compliance with IT standards and audit requirements within the ERP environment.
  • Assess ongoing business needs and suggest system enhancements or modifications as necessary.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in ERP implementation projects with proven success.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics essential.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of various business processes, including finance, manufacturing, and supply chain.
