Responsibilities

• Install and maintain wiring, control, and lighting systems to ensure facility safety.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components to identify the root problem.
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards or defects.
• Work from ladders, scaffolds, or roofs to install and maintain electrical wiring.
• Ensure the compatibility and safety of electrical systems with building codes and safety standards.
• Perform regular maintenance work on breakers, switches, transformers, and wiring systems.
• Use testing devices to identify electrical problems and fix faulty components.
• Advise management on continued use of existing systems and necessary upgrades.
• Follow technical manuals and blueprints to complete electrical installations properly.
• Collaborate with construction and engineering teams on new projects and renovations.
• Stay up to date with service manuals, technical updates, and industry regulations.
• Document work progress and maintain accurate records of electrical operations.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Electrician in industrial or commercial settings essential.
• Completion of an apprenticeship or acceptable electrician training program required.
• Valid state Electrician license is mandatory for this position.
• Strong knowledge of electrical components and systems, including wiring and circuitry.
• Experience with electrical testing equipment and tools is highly advantageous.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
• Strong commitment to safety protocols and occupational guidelines in all tasks.
