Job Description

An Electrical Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing all electrical operations within a project or facility. Responsibilities

  • Supervise, coordinate, and evaluate the electrical team's daily operations and activities.
  • Ensure all electrical systems comply with industry codes and safety regulations.

  • Evaluate project specifications to determine scheduled maintenance and repair scope.
  • Collaborate with project managers to align electrical work with overall project goals.
  • Perform regular inspections and audits to ensure electrical systems are operational.
  • Plan and implement electrical installations, upgrades, and preventive maintenance procedures.
  • Respond promptly to electrical emergencies, resolving issues efficiently and safely.
  • Maintain detailed records of electrical systems, modifications, and maintenance activities.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of electrical components.
  • Control inventory of electrical components, tools, and equipment, ensuring adequate supplies.
  • Implement health and safety policies to minimize risks during electrical operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant field is required.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in electrical supervision or management roles.
  • Strong leadership skills with proven ability to manage and develop teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of local, state, and federal electrical codes and regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities for diagnosing and resolving electrical issues.
  • Exceptional communication skills to coordinate effectively with teams and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with electrical systems, power generation, and high-voltage equipment.
  • Proficiency in using electrical testing and diagnostic equipment confidently.
