As an E-commerce Accounting & Compliance Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial integrity and regulatory adherence of our e-commerce operations. This position requires a meticulous approach to accounting practices and an in-depth understanding of e-commerce platforms. You will oversee financial transactions, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations specific to our industry. The successful candidate will have a strong background in accounting, coupled with the ability to navigate e-commerce systems efficiently. Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily accounting transactions specific to e-commerce activities.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records and reports.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for management.
• Coordinate and support internal and external audits as required.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.
• Conduct regular reviews to ensure alignment with e-commerce financial policies.
• Liaise with other departments to streamline e-commerce financial operations.
• Identify and implement process improvements in the accounting workflow.
• Develop and maintain detailed knowledge of e-commerce systems and tools.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities related to e-commerce ventures.
• Monitor and report on sales tax and other regulatory requirements.
• Provide financial insights to aid in strategic decision-making processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in e-commerce.
• Solid understanding of financial regulations and compliance standards.
• Experience with e-commerce platforms and accounting software essential.
• Exceptional analytical abilities and attention to detail are required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills a must.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
