Job Description

As a Counter Sales Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales and enhancing customer satisfaction within a retail environment. Your primary responsibility will involve assisting customers who visit the store, answering their inquiries, and helping them with their purchasing decisions. You will be expected to maintain up-to-date knowledge of the products and services offered by the company, ensuring accurate and efficient service delivery. Your ability to communicate effectively, understand customer needs, and provide suitable solutions will be instrumental in achieving sales targets and contributing to the overall profitability of the organization. You will work closely with other teams to ensure a seamless customer experience, and your proactive approach towards resolving customer issues will help in maintaining a loyal customer base.


Responsibilities

  • Assist customers by providing accurate and timely information about products.
  • Manage transactions efficiently in the point of sale system to ensure accuracy.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and attractive display of products at the counter.
  • Offer excellent customer service by greeting and acknowledging all customers.
  • Handle customer complaints and escalate complex issues as needed for resolution.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets by engaging with customers proactively.
  • Update and replenish stock at the counter office to meet customer demands.
  • Educate customers about promotions, offers, and product recommendations to increase sales.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to enhance product marketing strategies.
  • Monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts and surplus products at the counter.
  • Perform daily cash reconciliations to ensure financial records are accurate and complete.
  • Gather customer feedback and report it promptly to improve service delivery.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a college degree is advantageous.
  • Proven experience in a sales or customer service role is highly desirable.
  • Strong verbal communication skills are essential for interacting with customers.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
  • Proficient in using standard office and point of sale software applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think on your feet.
  • Friendly and approachable demeanor to build rapport with customers and colleagues.
