Job Description

A Counter Sales Executive plays a crucial role in the retail and sales sectors by directly interacting with customers, understanding their needs, and providing them with product solutions. Responsibilities

  • Handle customer inquiries and provide detailed information about product features.
  • Stay updated on promotional offers to effectively communicate them to customers.
  • Accurately process sales transactions, including cash, card, and contactless payments.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the sales counter and surrounding areas.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the supply team for stock replenishment.
  • Collect and manage customer feedback to improve service and product offerings.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve and surpass sales targets consistently.
  • Coordinate with the management to resolve any customer complaints efficiently.
  • Foster positive relationships with customers, encouraging loyalty and repeat business.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; further education is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a sales representative or similar customer service role.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with clients.
  • Proficiency in point-of-sale systems and handling cash and card payments.
  • Ability to work in flexible shifts including weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address customer inquiries and objections.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team or independently as required.
