The role of a Counter Sales Executive is pivotal in ensuring the seamless operation of a retail sales environment. As a Counter Sales Executive, you will be the primary point of contact for customers, providing them with excellent service and support in the purchase of products and services. Your interaction will heavily influence customer satisfaction and retention. Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting the appropriate products.

  • Manage product inventories, ensuring that shelves are well-stocked and organized.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the point of sale system.
  • Resolve customer complaints and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Provide detailed information about products and services available to customers.
  • Implement sales strategies to achieve personal and team sales targets and goals.
  • Maintain knowledge of current promotions and policies regarding payment and exchanges.
  • Ensure the sales counter and surrounding areas are tidy and appealing to customers.
  • Collaborate with the sales team and participate in meetings to discuss goals.
  • Contribute to developing promotional displays to attract customer attention.
  • Coordinate with warehouse personnel to ensure the timely delivery of products.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a college degree is preferred.
  • Proven experience in sales, customer service, or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of retail operations, sales techniques, and customer service principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with customers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with standard office software and retail management systems.
  • Good organizational skills with the capability to prioritize as required.
