An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Automation Tester to join our dynamic team. As an Automation Tester, you will be responsible for creating, implementing, and managing automated test processes to ensure the software we deliver is top-notch in terms of quality and performance. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand the requirements and verify that the application meets the user's needs. This role requires a blend of analytical skills, an eye for detail, and comprehensive knowledge of automated testing tools and frameworks. Your contribution will be crucial in enhancing the efficiency and reliability of our software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts to enhance overall software quality.
• Collaborate with developers to understand application functionalities and requirements.
• Design test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures based on user stories.
• Execute automated test cases and provide detailed analysis of test results.
• Identify, document, and track defects found during testing phases and lifecycle.
• Ensure the automation frameworks are up-to-date and suggest improvements as necessary.
• Participate in continuous improvement and innovation initiatives related to testing processes.
• Provide test coverage reports to the team and monitor test cycle times.
• Assist in the identification and design of new automation solutions.
• Guide and mentor junior team members in best practices for test automation.
• Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in both quality assurance and software testing.
• Facilitate the adoption of automated testing practices within the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in software testing, particularly in automation, is essential.
• Proficiency with testing tools such as Selenium, QTP, or similar frameworks.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and test-driven development.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Experience with continuous integration tools like Jenkins or similar CI/CD tools.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills paired with the ability to work independently.
