Automation Tester 16D25

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Tester to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software applications through rigorous automated testing processes. You will work closely with developers and product managers to understand the requirements and translate them into automated test scenarios. The candidate should have a passion for delivering high-quality products and possess a deep understanding of various testing tools and methodologies. As an Automation Tester, you will play a crucial role in our software development lifecycle, making sure all software solutions are reliable, scalable, and error-free.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated tests to validate software functionality.
• Collaborate with development teams to create automated testing strategies and plans.
• Analyze and document test results, reporting issues and recommending solutions.
• Maintain and update existing test automation frameworks and scripts regularly.
• Identify areas for automation and propose efficient testing processes.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of automated tests.
• Investigate and debug test failures, providing detailed analysis and resolutions.
• Develop and optimize test automation infrastructure for performance and scalability.
• Ensure continuous testing and feedback is integrated into the software development process.
• Participate in code reviews to uphold quality standards in test scripts.
• Keep abreast of industry best practices and tools for test automation.
• Train and mentor junior team members in test automation techniques and tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Automation Tester or similar testing role for at least 3 years.
• Proficiency with automated testing tools like Selenium, QTP, or equivalent.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
• Experience with Continuous Integration tools like Jenkins or Bamboo is required.
• Detail-oriented with excellent analytic and problem-solving capabilities.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as within a team.
