We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented AutoCAD Drafter to join our dynamic design team and contribute to the creation of precise and innovative engineering drawings. As an AutoCAD Drafter, you will play a pivotal role in translating engineering concepts into detailed technical drawings, using cutting-edge software and design methodologies. Responsibilities

• Develop detailed design drawings and specifications using AutoCAD software.
• Collaborate with engineers and architects to understand design requirements.
• Review rough sketches and interpret them into detailed CAD drawings.
• Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and specifications.
• Maintain and update design documentation and project files systematically.
• Coordinate corrections and revisions to design drawings as required.
• Work with project managers to optimize design processes and timelines.
• Participate in design meetings and provide input on technical feasibility.
• Perform quality checks on final drawings before submission to stakeholders.
• Produce layouts and verify dimensions to support project installation plans.
• Research and incorporate new design tools and techniques into everyday work.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior drafters within the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in drafting, design, engineering, or related field is preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD software with a strong portfolio of past projects.
• At least two years of experience working as a drafter in a professional setting.
• Excellent understanding of engineering and architectural design principles.
• Strong attention to detail with an aptitude for producing accurate drawings.
• Effective communication skills necessary to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines efficiently.
• Familiarity with additional CAD software and 3D modeling tools is a plus.
