As an AutoCAD Drafter, you will be responsible for creating precise and detailed technical drawings and plans using AutoCAD software. Your primary duty is to produce drawings that accurately reflect the requirements and specifications provided by engineers, architects, or other designers. Responsibilities

• Create detailed technical drawings and plans using AutoCAD software as per given specifications.
• Interpret project requirements and collaborate with engineers and architects to refine drawings.
• Conduct site visits when necessary to gather information for drafting projects.
• Coordinate with the project team to ensure all drawings meet project standards and specifications.
• Edit and modify existing drawings as needed based on updates and feedback.
• Maintain a digital library of all drawings, ensuring proper organization and version control.
• Review completed drawings for accuracy and quality before submission for final approval.
• Adhere to industry standards and company policies in all drafting tasks and projects.
• Assist in preparing design presentations for clients and stakeholders when necessary.
• Continuously update and improve drafting skills by staying informed on new CAD software features.
• Provide support to junior drafters and guide them in following best practices.
• Ensure all projects are completed within set timelines and budgetary constraints.

Requirements

• Associate degree or Diploma in Drafting, CAD Technology or related field.
• Proven experience as an AutoCAD Drafter or similar role in a relevant industry.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and other CAD software like Revit or SolidWorks.
• Strong understanding of engineering, architectural, and construction processes.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
• Keen attention to detail with a strong ability to spot errors in drawings.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of other design software like Adobe Creative Suite is advantageous.
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations is preferred.
