As an Associate Buyer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the purchasing and procurement activities within the organization.   • Support senior buyers in negotiating contracts and agreements with suppliers.
  • Maintain accurate records of orders, delivery dates, and costs associated.
  • Analyze market trends to predict product viability and purchasing needs.
  • Monitor inventory levels to prevent overstock or stockouts efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively with vendors to resolve discrepancies and issues.
  • Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly purchasing reports as required.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and legal standards in all purchasing activities.
  • Coordinate logistics and shipping details to guarantee smooth delivery processes.
  • Participate in sourcing and selecting new products to meet customer needs.
  • Contribute to team meetings by providing insights and reporting progress.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities to liaise with vendors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, is highly desirable.
  • Able to multitask and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all procurement activities.
