The Assistant Manager - Talent Acquisition is a pivotal role within our Human Resources team, focused on identifying, attracting, and retaining top talent to drive organizational success. By collaborating closely with department heads and team leaders, the Assistant Manager - Talent Acquisition will develop strategic recruitment initiatives that align with our company’s goals and values. This position demands a balance of analytical skills, people skills, and creative thinking to effectively manage hiring processes, craft compelling job descriptions, and ensure a seamless candidate experience. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and possesses a deep understanding of various recruitment channels and methodologies. This role also involves overseeing a team of recruiters, providing guidance and training, and ensuring compliance with employment regulations.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and implement effective talent acquisition strategies in alignment with business objectives.
  • Manage a team of recruiters, providing training and guidance to enhance their performance.
  • Collaborate with department heads to understand their hiring needs and position requirements.
  • Develop and publish compelling and clear job descriptions for open positions.
  • Utilize various recruitment channels, including social media, job boards, and networking events.
  • Screen resumes and applications, conducting initial phone screenings to assess candidate suitability.
  • Schedule and conduct interviews, coordinating with relevant hiring managers as needed.
  • Maintain a robust applicant tracking system to track candidates through the hiring process.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations during recruitment activities.
  • Analyze recruitment metrics to assess the effectiveness of recruiting strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with employment agencies and educational institutions.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on recruitment activities and outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment roles.
  • Proven track record of successfully filling positions across various functions and levels.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations affecting hiring practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams and candidates.
  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems and recruitment tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
