Job Description

The Assistant Manager – Human Resources is a pivotal role within the HR department, responsible for driving the strategic HR initiatives and managing the day-to-day HR operations. This role requires a dynamic and motivated individual who can support the HR Manager in implementing HR policies and procedures and ensuring that the organization's human resources operate smoothly and efficiently. The assistant manager will be instrumental in talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, and training and development. Additionally, this role involves ensuring compliance with all employment laws and regulations and providing excellent support to management and employees across various HR functions.


Responsibilities

  • Support the HR Manager in the development and implementation of HR strategies.
  • Oversee the talent acquisition process, including recruiting, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants.
  • Facilitate effective onboarding processes for new hires to ensure seamless integration.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of performance management systems.
  • Coordinate employee training and development programs to enhance employee skills.
  • Implement and manage employee engagement and recognition programs effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with labor regulations and employment laws of the region.
  • Support initiatives to promote diversity and inclusion within the workplace.
  • Manage employee relations issues and provide resolutions that align with company policies.
  • Prepare and analyze HR metrics and provide reports for management review.
  • Administer company benefits programs and address related inquiries from employees.
  • Maintain personnel records accurately and ensure data confidentiality and integrity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a human resources or related role.
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices and current labor laws.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills are essential.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Proven organizational skills with attention to detail and multitasking ability.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office applications is required.
