Job Description

The Assistant Manager in Human Resources plays a pivotal role in orchestrating HR functions to ensure they align with the organization’s strategic objectives. The role involves not only supporting the HR Manager but also taking the initiative to lead projects and drive improvements in recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance. Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and implementing HR strategies to bolster organizational goals.
  • Oversee the recruitment process, ensuring a streamlined and effective candidate experience.
  • Manage onboarding procedures for new hires, facilitating smooth integration into the team.
  • Collaborate with managers to address and resolve employee relations issues promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with labor regulations and internal HR policies and guidelines.
  • Participate in the development and execution of training and development programs.
  • Administer compensation and benefits programs to maintain competitive positioning.
  • Support performance management processes to ensure employee appraisals are conducted timely.
  • Conduct regular audits of HR processes and policies to recommend improvements.
  • Maintain and update employee records and HR databases with precision and confidentiality.
  • Develop and analyze HR metrics to inform decision-making and policy adjustments.
  • Lead or participate in special HR projects and initiatives as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 3-5 years of progressive experience in human resource management roles.
  • Strong understanding of HR functions and best practices across industries.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to conflict resolution.
