Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to determine functional and spatial requirements for structures.
• Develop conceptual plans, elevations, and designs for client presentation and approval.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal architectural regulations and codes.
• Oversee project design phases from concept through final construction documents.
• Manage project budgets and timelines, ensuring projects stay within financial limits.
• Research the latest design software and tools to enhance productivity and designs.
• Create integrated designs using sustainability and energy efficiency principles.
• Lead and mentor junior architects and technical staff, fostering skill development.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other consultants to ensure project integrity.
• Prepare detailed specifications and performance documents for building projects.
• Conduct site visits to ensure the implementation of design specifications.
• Resolve arising issues or conflicts and negotiate modifications as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in architectural design and construction.
• Proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and construction practices.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Exceptional communication skills to liaise with clients, contractors, and team members.
• Creative and forward-thinking with a strong eye for innovative design solutions.
• Licensed architect preferred, or progressing towards architectural licensure.
