Purpose:

• Deliver business analysis capabilities for Trade & Working Capital solutions supporting Transaction Banking customers.
• Bridge business, operations, technology and vendor teams to ensure successful delivery of Trade Finance, Supply Chain Finance and Working Capital initiatives.
• Elicit, analyse, document and manage business, functional and non-functional requirements for new capabilities, enhancements and regulatory change.
• Lead business analysis activities for new capabilities, enhancements and strategic initiatives across Trade & Working Capital products, including Letters of Credit, Guarantees, Collections, Supply Chain Finance, Receivables Finance, Payables Finance and Trade Lending solutions.
• Collaborate with product, operations, risk, compliance and technology teams to define business processes, target state solutions and implementation approaches.
• Drive process optimisation and automation opportunities through customer, operational and regulatory insights.
• Ensure delivered solutions meet business objectives, regulatory obligations and customer outcomes.

Essential Capabilities:

Business Analysis & Requirements Management

• Lead requirements elicitation, stakeholder workshops and business analysis activities.
• Translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Maintain requirements traceability and support solution delivery through the project lifecycle.

Trade & Working Capital Domain Analysis

• Analyse Trade & Working Capital products, processes and customer journeys.
• Support product enhancements, regulatory initiatives and platform modernisation programs.
• Identify process improvement opportunities, operational risks and business impacts.

Process & Solution Design

• Facilitate current and future state analysis and process design.
• Collaborate with business and technology teams to define solution options and implementation approaches.
• Assess business impacts, dependencies and change requirements.

Delivery Support

• Support Agile delivery practices including backlog refinement, sprint activities and release planning.
• Contribute to test scenario design, UAT execution and validation of business requirements.
• Ensure delivered solutions meet agreed business outcomes.

Regulatory & Risk Analysis

• Assess the impact of regulatory, compliance and industry changes on Trade & Working Capital solutions.
• Partner with Risk, Compliance and Legal stakeholders to ensure alignment with policy and control requirements.
• Support audit, risk and remediation initiatives.

Experience:

• 15+ years' banking experience with at least 3 years in Business Analysis roles.
• Strong experience within Trade Finance and Working Capital products.
• Experience across one or more of:  Documentary Credits (Letters of Credit). Bank Guarantees / Standby Letters of Credit. Documentary Collections. Supply Chain Finance, Receivables Finance, Payables Finance, Trade Loans, Import and Export Finance
• Experience working on vendor platforms such as Finastra Trade Innovation, Infosys Finacle Trade Finance Solution or equivalent Trade Finance platforms.
• Experience with Agile delivery methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence and Rally.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills.
• Experience supporting UAT, process modelling and business change initiatives.
• Strong analytical capability and problem-solving skills.
• Other capabilities
• Experience working in Corporate & Institutional Banking environments
• Knowledge of SWIFT Trade messaging (MT7xx and ISO 20022 Trade migration initiatives).
• Understanding of AML, Sanctions Screening, KYC and Trade Compliance processes.
• Exposure to API, digital banking and workflow automation initiatives.
• Ability to work across business, operations and technology teams.

Qualification Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Technology or related discipline.
• IIBA CBAP, CCBA or equivalent Business Analysis certification desirable.
• Agile Business Analysis certification desirable.
• Trade Finance certification (CDCS, CSCF or equivalent) advantageous.
• Postgraduate qualifications in Finance, Banking or Business advantageous.
