We enable shopping feature teams deliver superior CX quality by providing them reliable and comprehensive insights and ground truth data to measure and train ML (Machine Learning) models and handle annotation and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) across 10 different languages.

The Training Specialist II is a high-ownership individual contributor within Optima’s Training & Development organization, responsible for designing, executing, and continuously improving training programs that drive measurable business outcomes across 2 assigned programs. This role operates at the intersection of operational excellence and data-driven decision making — requiring the ability to independently translate business challenges into structured training solutions that deliver measurable impact within assigned programs.

The ideal candidate is a confident and credible partner to senior stakeholders, a detail-oriented operator who builds for quality and consistency, and a performance-focused professional who holds themselves and their programs to high standards. They are comfortable presenting at Global WBRs and MBRs, navigating cross-functional complexity, and driving alignment across Ops, Quality, MOSAIC, SWOT, and Account Management teams

Key job responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end training programs for 2 processes — including new hire onboarding, cross-training, upskilling, and refresher programs — that target measurable improvements in quality, throughput, and DA readiness
• Own the full training lifecycle for assigned programs: SOP review, training plan creation, session delivery, OJT, CCS, and production sign-off
• Lead UATs and pilot annotation requests independently, partnering with Account Managers to ensure training readiness ahead of program launches
• Proactively identify and clear training blockers — escalating risks to leadership with clear recommendations rather than problems alone
• Define and document launch readiness criteria, ensuring all dependencies are cleared before training begins
• Partner with PMs, Account Managers and Ops leaders to define ramp plans, success metrics, and go/no-go checkpoints
• Own the tracking, standardization, and reporting of all training metrics — including learner satisfaction, post-training quality, ramp-to-production timelines, and assessment performance
• Deep dive into training process data to identify root causes of quality shortfalls and design targeted interventions; track improvement outcomes against baseline
• Own all status communications for assigned programs, including flashes, fortnightly stakeholder updates, and leadership emails — ensuring timely, accurate, and audience-appropriate messaging
• Present training outcomes, risks, and recommendations at WBRs and MBRs with confidence and data-backed narratives
• Identify opportunities to automate, scale, or innovate training delivery
  
  

Basic Qualifications

• Experience focused on Adult Learning Theory, including 1) virtual training facilitation and dealing with remote teams, and 2) delivering Soft Skills, Technology Skills and/or Technical or other Systems training
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of equivalent experience
