Description
Talent Acquisition Manager will lead hiring across the APAC region, building on a strong foundation in end-to-end recruitment and early careers hiring. This role will drive strategic talent acquisition initiatives, strengthen direct sourcing capabilities, and lead the Early Careers agenda across APAC.
You will partner closely with regional leadership, hiring managers, and the global People & Culture (P&C) team, reporting directly in to Sr P&C Manager – APAC, to deliver high-quality hiring outcomes, enhance employer branding, and build robust talent pipelines across multiple markets including Australia, Japan, Singapore, India and new market entries in APAC.
Key Responsibilities
1. APAC Talent Acquisition Leadership- Lead end-to-end recruitment across APAC for lateral, specialist, and leadership roles
- Act as a strategic partner to business leaders, shaping hiring plans aligned to growth priorities
- Drive workforce planning discussions and provide market insights and talent mapping
- Own and improve hiring metrics including time-to-hire, quality of hire, and candidate experience
- Ensure consistency, compliance, and best practices across APAC hiring processe
2. Direct Sourcing & Talent Strategy- Build and embed a strong direct sourcing strategy, reducing reliance on external vendors
- Develop proactive talent pipelines across key skill areas and markets
- Leverage advanced sourcing techniques (Boolean, market mapping, passive talent engagement)
- Partner with hiring managers to define targeted hiring approaches and sourcing channels
3. Early Careers & Graduate Programme (APAC)- Own and lead the APAC Graduate Programme and Early Careers strategy end-to-end
- Design and execute campus hiring strategies, university partnerships, and attraction campaigns
- Partner with global Early Careers and Marketing teams to position Aurora as an employer of choice
- Oversee graduate selection processes, assessment centers, and onboarding
- Track and enhance programme effectiveness and candidate quality
4. Stakeholder & Team Management- Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders across APAC
- Coach and guide hiring managers on best practices in selection and offer strategy
- Collaborate with global P&C teams to align on processes, tools, and employer branding
5. Candidate Experience & Employer Branding- Deliver a high-quality candidate experience across all touchpoints
- Ensure strong communication, timely feedback, and engagement
- Partner with Marketing to strengthen employer brand presence across APAC
6. Data, Reporting & Continuous Improvement- Own recruitment reporting and provide insights to leadership
- Maintain high data integrity across systems and pipelines
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and TA transformation
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Required attributes:
Experience- 8-12 years of experience in Talent Acquisition with strong APAC exposure
- Proven experience managing end-to-end hiring across multiple geographies
- Strong experience in Early Careers / Graduate hiring
- Demonstrated ability to operate at both strategic and execution levels
Skills- Strong direct sourcing and talent mapping expertise
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Strong project management and prioritisation capability
- High attention to detail and organisational skills
Desirable attributes:- Experience in consulting, analytics, or fast-growing international environments
- Exposure to Japan / Australia / Southeast Asia hiring markets
- Additional APAC language skills (Japanese, Mandarin, Chinese etc.) are a plus
