You will be responsible for overseeing and driving the development, enhancement, and management of the Unified Payments Interface (UPI) product offerings via the company app. Your primary focus will be on developing the product features on the app/switch ensuring customer growth, innovation and compliance.
Job Description
Develop and execute the companys UPI product strategy in alignment with the overall business objectives.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape related to UPI.
Define and document UPI product requirements, user stories, and use cases to guide the product development process.
Work closely with the technology team to ensure timely and successful delivery of UPI product releases.
Monitor the performance and usage of UPI products, and implement data-driven insights to optimize and improve customer experience.
Maintain a deep understanding of the UPI ecosystem, including NPCI guidelines, regulations, and security standards, and ensure compliance.
Collaborate with banks and other stakeholders in the UPI ecosystem to drive interoperability and expand the reach of UPI services.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes related to UPI and digital payments.
Provide regular updates and reports on the performance and progress of UPI products to senior management.
Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, Growth, Marketing and Ops teams to develop the required features.
Maintain the product roadmap and drive it with the business needs.
Deep knowledge of UPI flows and must be well in sync with latest UPI trends.
Growth & Design understanding and initiatives.
Deep understanding of Clever Tap.
Responsibilities
Grow the transacting users for UPI by co-owning product experience with the squad.
Independently drive the product metrics and strategy with measurable outcomes.
Work with cross-functional teams that include Technology, Program Management, Marketing and Analytics to launch products with high velocity.
Continually monitor metrics and refine products basis customer feedback.
Drive clarity on complex and ambiguous projects.
Requirements
Essential: Minimum of 5-7 years of post MBA experience as a Product Manager, preferably in the Fintech and Payments sector.
Essential: In-depth knowledge and understanding of the UPI ecosystem, including NPCI guidelines and regulations, and have driven product growth with various initiatives.
Sound understanding of technology trends and a familiarity with digital payment technologies and platforms.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated and proactive mindset, with a passion for innovation and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
