SQL Server Developer - ETL Python

Description

Responsibilities :

• Develop, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions using MS SQL Server (SSMS).
• Troubleshoot and migrate business logic from PL/SQL to T-SQL where necessary.
• Perform query performance tuning and optimization to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing.
• Design and maintain database objects ensuring data integrity and security.
• Develop ETL workflows to support data integration and transformation needs.
• Collaborate with Database Administrators, Analysts, and Operations teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Support process improvement and automation initiatives related to database development.
• Understand relational data models and contribute to database design and documentation.
  
  

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience as an SQL Developer or in data storage and management roles.
• Strong proficiency with MS SQL Server platform and environment, including SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).
• In-depth knowledge of SQL Tables, data types, stored procedures, views, functions, and T-SQL programming.
• Ability to understand PL/SQL and translate/troubleshoot logic into T-SQL.
• Experience in query performance tuning and optimization.
• Exposure to ETL workflow development and data integration processes.
• Familiarity with relational data models and database design tools is an advantage.
• Experience with process improvement and automation in database development is a plus.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills with the ability to work cooperatively with various teams.
