Role Overview

In fintech, a bug isn't cosmetic — it's someone's money. You won't be handed a script to click through. You'll learn to think adversarially about financial systems: where data drifts, what breaks under load, what happens when a price feed goes stale mid-transaction.

What You'll Do

• Write and execute test cases across web and mobile — functional, regression, edge cases.

• Test real financial flows: portfolios, transactions, order execution, data accuracy.

• Log clear, reproducible bug reports with steps, evidence, and expected vs. actual.

• Validate APIs with Postman; verify response contracts and error handling.

• Cross-check data integrity across UI, backend, and database.

• Work directly with engineers through the fix–verify–close loop.

• AI-First Engineering (Non-Negotiable).

Core Requirements

• Strong analytical and logical reasoning — you ask "what if" by instinct.

• Sharp attention to detail: the off-by-one, the misaligned decimal, the missing null check.

• QA fundamentals — STLC, test case design, bug life cycle, severity vs. priority.

• Basics of REST APIs, JSON, and SQL for data verification.

• Clear written communication; comfort with Jira, Postman, DevTools, Git.

Strong Differentiators

• Automation exposure (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress) or scripting in Java/JS/Python.

• Interest in fintech, crypto, trading, or Web3.

• Personal projects, hackathons, open source, or bug bounty work.
