Global Business Services delivers Technology and Operations capabilities to Lines of Business and Staff Support Functions of Bank of America through a centrally managed, globally integrated delivery model and globally resilient operations.

In India, we are present in five locations and operate as BA Continuum India Private Limited (BACI), a non-banking subsidiary of Bank of America Corporation and the operating company for India operations of Global Business Services.

Process Overview*Supporting enterprise control function which comprises of global HR Technology (CPT), Finance, Global Market and corporate affairs, Global Corporate Services, Corporate security, Collaboration, Content, Document and Digital Management, Portals, Search and Mobile Technologies

Job Description*

Individual will perform as a contributing member of the development team that involves in understanding the business, creating strategies and specifications for technical solutions, system design documents & developing React based web applications.

Responsibilities*

  • Work activities specific to develop UI screens that include developing, modifying and/or maintaining code for React based applications.
  • Should design, code, test, debug and document programs as per corporate standards along with documentation of the technology they are developing.
  • Exercises judgement within generally defined practices in selecting methods and tools for obtaining solutions.
  • May provide expertise in determining the technical direction and system architecture.
  • Analysis of Software requirements and provide initial estimates of dev effort.
  • Develop code against functional specifications and features.
  • Adhere to coding standards and best practices.
  • Perform Quality review of code.
  • Break Fix.
  • Level 3 support.
  • Write Unit Test cases.
  • Perform Integration Testing to ensure features work as specified.
  • Follow Test Driven Development approach.

Requirements*

Education*

  • B.E., B. Tech, MCA
  • Certifications If Any: N/A

Experience Range*

  • 5 to 10 Years

Foundational Skills*

  • Extensive experience in React
  • Knowledge of object-oriented design and architecture
  • HTML/XHTML, HTML 5, CSS
  • Java-script, jQuery, jQuery UI, Bootstrap
  • Ajax, MS Ajax Library, Ajax Control Toolkit
  • JSON, JSONP, XML/XSL, Web-services
  • IE Developer Tools
  • Basic Database knowledge on ORACLE
  • Understanding of Role based authorization model
  • REST Web Services
  • Fiddler, Firebug, Poster, IE Developer Tools
  • Analytical and Problem-solving skills
  • Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous delivery model
  • Strong in Lean Agile or Scrum methodologies and should be familiar with full system development lifecycle using Agile.

Desired Skills*

  • Knowledge of Banking or finance.
  • Skills in complex problem solving, judgement, critical thinking and decision making.
  • Ability to be highly organized with an emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
  • Ability to work alone with minimum supervision and with others in a team environment.
  • Ability to multi-task and work under time pressure.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with varied stakeholders.
