Job Description

About Broadway

Broadway is India’s pioneering experiential department store concept designed to rewrite the rules of modern retail. Backed by marquee industry leaders, Broadway serves as a physical launchpad for over 200 of the country's top digital-first (D2C) and indie brands across fashion, beauty, streetwear, and wellness.

Job Overview

We are looking for a Social Media & Community Intern who lives and breathes internet culture. This isn’t a corporate formatting job. You will be the voice, wit, and eyes of Broadway online—managing our platforms, jumping on trends before they peak, building relationships with the next wave of creators, and engaging our community with sharp, clever copy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Publishing & Scheduling: Manage, schedule, and publish daily content across all of Broadway’s official social handles.
  • Online Reputation Management (ORM): Own our comment sections and DMs. Respond quickly and authentically in Broadway’s distinct brand voice.
  • Review Management: Monitor and respond to community feedback and reviews on our Google Business pages.
  • Trend Spotting & Reactive Marketing: Scout comment sections and trending topics (ours and others) to inject Broadway into cultural moments naturally and wittily.
  • Creator Scouting: Discover and track emerging, up-and-coming micro-creators worth collaborating with.
  • Copywriting: Draft quick, punchy, and highly engaging copy for social captions, replies, and community interactions.
  • Performance Tracking: Keep a pulse on platform analytics (reach, engagement, growth) to understand what resonates and pivot strategy accordingly.

Requirements And Qualifications

  • Internet Savvy: Terminally online. You know the trending audio, formats, and memes before they hit the mainstream.
  • Wit & Voice: Quirky, quick-witted, and bold enough to maintain a clear, engaging point of view in replies.
  • Copywriting Skills: Master of the basics—you value tone, brevity, punchiness, and impeccable timing.
  • Analytical Basics: Comfortable looking at platform numbers, reading engagement data, and translating it into action.
  • Creator Culture: Deeply curious about the creator economy. You know who is next, not just who is already big.

Good to Have

  • Handle Management: Prior experience running an active brand page or a growing personal social media handle.
  • On-Camera Presence: Comfortable occasionally appearing in front of the camera for casual content or quick videos.
  • Proof of Wit: A portfolio or screenshots of clever replies, captions, or social content you are proud of.
