Senior Tester

Location - Gurugram (On-site)

We are seeking a meticulous Senior Manual Tester to join our EOD Core team. The ideal candidate should possess a comprehensive understanding of testing methodologies and demonstrate an unwavering commitment to delivering high-quality software products. Familiarity with automation testing will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements.
• Conduct rigorous manual testing to identify, record, and monitor defects and issues.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure clear understanding, prioritization, and resolution of issues.
• Execute functional, regression, and integration testing to pinpoint, document, and manage defects.
• Maintain detailed documentation of test outcomes, defects, and the status of testing efforts.
• Participate in requirement analysis, design reviews, and various quality assurance activities.
• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of testing practices and methodologies.
• Provide mentorship and support to junior testers as required.
  
  

Your Profile

• 7-10 years of experience in manual and automation testing.
• Profound understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and Agile ceremonies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficient in using defect tracking tools and test management software.
• Basic to intermediate SQL query skills, with the ability to write and understand SQL code to effectively manipulate and query databases for testing purposes.
  
  

Desirable Skills

• Experience with automation testing tools and frameworks.
• Knowledge of scripting languages for test automation.
