Your Impact

You will be part of the Planetrics engineering team, which is responsible for scaling Planet View, a client service platform within McKinsey Sustainability.

We are specialists in the design of climate-change risk and opportunity modelling at the level of regions, sectors and assets, and in integrating this data with existing modelling and decision-making frameworks. The Planetrics model and our PlanetView platform are used by world’s leading banks, asset managers, owners, and insurers to support portfolio management, risk management, regulatory reporting, and stress testing.

Your Qualifications and Skills

• Degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, quantitative methods, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in React.js, along with strong skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Solid experience in UI and visual design for modern web applications
• Proven hands-on experience in UX design and implementation
• Proficiency in Figma components, prototyping, and design systems
• A keen eye for visual hierarchy, accessibility, and responsive design principles
• Comfort working in agile, cross-functional teams alongside designers, developers, and product managers
• Proactive stakeholder management and ability to clearly communicate the reasoning of design choices
• Previous data visualization designs and data centric UX experience is preferred but not required
