Senior SDE UTR Automation

We are seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer to help build the future of last mile delivery at Amazon. In this role, you will contribute to the technical development of UTR Tech Automation systems, implementing solutions that will transform last-mile delivery across our global network. The Under-The-Roof (UTR) Automation team is part of Amazons Last Mile organization, and were on a mission to build the next generation of automation for micro fulfillment and delivery hubs around the world — technology that works seamlessly in fast-moving environments, feels invisible to the people using it, and leaves little room for error. Key job responsibilities
You will play an important role in developing technology that will transform the future of delivery, working on challenging problems at unprecedented scale. Your work will contribute to the development of systems that will operate across diverse environments, delivering millions of packages daily while maintaining the highest safety standards. Basic Qualifications: - 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
- 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
- Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent Preferred Qualifications: - 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
