Senior Mobile Engineer (Android & Flutter)

As a Senior Mobile Engineer on our international team, you will play a key role in creating fast, reliable mobile apps that connect with our smart IoT (Internet of Things) systems. We are looking for a flexible developer who is skilled in both native Android and Flutter, and ready to switch between the two platforms as project needs evolve. You will write clean code, apply modern programming practices, and take ownership of our apps whether you are building a brand new concept from scratch or improving and scaling applications that are already live in production.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy advanced, scalable applications for Android and cross-platform environments.
• Architect maintainable codebases utilizing modern design patterns such as MVVM, MVI, and Clean Architecture.
• Bridge native Android modules with Flutter applications seamlessly using Method Channels.
• Lead technical execution and collaborate within an Agile ecosystem to define, design, and ship new features.
• Manage the complete mobile application lifecycle, including Firebase integration, CI/CD pipelines, and Google Play Console distribution.
• Maintain and migrate legacy Java codebases to Kotlin, and transition XML-based layouts to modern Jetpack Compose architectures.
• Identify bottlenecks, troubleshoot bugs, and optimize overall application performance and UI/UX fidelity.
• Document technical decisions and architecture clearly to align cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  
  

• Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience in mobile engineering.
• Native Android: Mastery of Kotlin (Coroutines, Flow, Jetpack Compose) and deep proficiency in Java for maintaining and migrating legacy codebases. Expert knowledge of Android Jetpack components.
• Hybrid Development: Advanced proficiency in Flutter & Dart, with experience building high-performance hybrid apps and managing Method Channels for native Android integration.
• Architecture & Design: Practical application of MVVM, MVI, or Clean Architecture. Solid understanding of Dependency Injection (Hilt/Dagger) and Repository patterns.
• Tooling: Power user of Android Studio (Profiling, Layout Inspector, Gradle optimization) and VS Code for streamlined Flutter development.
• Version Control: Advanced Git skills, including Gitflow, rebasing, and managing complex pull requests.
• Workflow: Seamless workflow within Jira for task management and Confluence for technical documentation.
• Lifecycle Management: Strong experience with Firebase, Google Play Console distribution, and integrating third-party APIs/SDKs.
• Communication: High-level English proficiency with the ability to articulate complex technical decisions to both developers and project stakeholders.
• Product Mindset: A "product-first" approach with a critical eye for UI/UX detail, user-centric problem solving, and overall app performance optimization.
