WHERE YOU'LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM

We're looking for a Senior Manager, MarTech to join FRWD in APAC.

You'll bring broad marketing expertise together with deep MarTech experience, helping clients integrate technology, customer data and digital capabilities into larger marketing, commercial and growth transformations.

As a senior practitioner and workstream leader, you'll shape MarTech strategies, operating models and implementation roadmaps while partnering closely with Bain consulting teams, FRWD practitioners and senior client stakeholders across marketing, sales, technology, analytics and digital functions.

You'll also play an important role in growing Bain's MarTech capability across the APAC region through thought leadership, coaching and business development.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Lead MarTech strategy and client delivery

• Lead MarTech diagnostics, assessments and client workstreams across marketing technology, CRM, CDP, marketing automation, personalization, customer journey orchestration, analytics, attribution, privacy and AI-enabled marketing capabilities.
• Develop data-driven recommendations, investment cases, implementation of roadmaps and capability-building plans that connect technology decisions with measurable business outcomes.
• Assess existing MarTech ecosystems, vendor landscapes, organizational models and operating processes to identify opportunities for simplification, optimization and growth.
• Design customer data and activation strategies across leading platforms including Adobe Experience Cloud, Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, Braze, Segment/Twilio, Amplitude, Google Analytics 4, AppsFlyer and related technologies.
• Develop measurement frameworks, experimentation strategies and attribution approaches that improve customer acquisition, retention, lifecycle engagement and marketing ROI.
• Collaborate closely with client implementation teams, agencies, platform partners and Bain technical specialists, translating complex technical concepts into actionable business recommendations.

Build trusted client relationships

• Develop strong relationships with senior client stakeholders across marketing, growth, digital, technology, sales and executive leadership.
• Facilitate executive workshops and stakeholder interviews to align priorities and define practical transformation roadmaps.
• Deliver clear, compelling presentations that connect MarTech investments to commercial performance, customer experience and operating model improvements.
• Ensure all analyses, recommendations and client deliverables meet Bain's high standards for quality, accuracy and impact.

Lead teams and grow the FRWD capability

• Lead and coach integrated Bain and FRWD teams throughout client engagements.
• Share MarTech expertise across the broader Bain ecosystem through tools, methodologies, training and case examples.
• Support capability building, recruiting, intellectual property development and business development across the APAC FRWD practice.
• Foster a collaborative, feedback-rich culture while modeling Bain's values and leadership expectations.

ABOUT YOU

You are an experienced MarTech leader who combines strategic thinking with hands-on experience delivering marketing transformation.

Required Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience across marketing, digital, growth, marketing operations or MarTech, with demonstrated leadership progression.
• 5+ years of experience in MarTech strategy, technology stack assessments, CRM, CDP, marketing automation, customer journey orchestration, measurement, attribution or marketing technology investments.
• Experience in consulting, agencies, in-house marketing, customer data or marketing technology environments; client services experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to connect technology, data and process decisions to commercial outcomes.
• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams across marketing, technology, analytics and business stakeholders.
• Practical experience with leading MarTech platforms such as Adobe Experience Cloud, Marketo, Salesforce, HubSpot, Braze, Segment/Twilio, Amplitude, Google Analytics 4, AppsFlyer and related customer data and marketing automation technologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage both executive business leaders and technical stakeholders.
• Experience working across APAC markets or the ability to navigate diverse regulatory environments, partner ecosystems and client cultures.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
• Willingness to travel as required.

• Certifications or practitioner experience across platforms such as Adobe Experience Cloud, Marketo, Salesforce, HubSpot, Braze, Google Marketing Platform, Meta, Amazon Ads, The Trade Desk, Segment/Twilio, Amplitude or comparable technologies
