YOUR TASKS

Job Summary

The person will be responsible for end-to-end supply chain operations with a strong emphasis on demand planning and forecasting to ensure optimal inventory levels, service levels, and cost efficiency. The role oversees shipment coordination, warehouse operations management, and transporter management, ensuring smooth material flow from suppliers to customers while supporting business growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Demand Planning & Forecasting (Primary Priority)
  
  
  

Develop and manage accurate demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, sales inputs, and customer requirements

Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to align demand plans with business targets

Monitor forecast accuracy (MAPE, bias) and drive continuous improvement

Translate demand forecasts into supply, procurement, and inventory plans

Lead monthly demand review and S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) meetings

Ensure optimal inventory levels to meet service targets while minimizing excess and obsolescence

Define and monitor safety stock, reorder points, and stock availability

Coordinate with procurement and production teams to align supply with forecasted demand

Analyze slow-moving and obsolete inventory and initiate corrective actions

Plan, monitor, and optimize inbound and outbound shipments

Ensure on-time deliveries while controlling freight and logistics costs

Manage domestic and international shipments, including documentation and compliance (if applicable)

Resolve shipment delays, damages, or discrepancies proactively

Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch

Ensure proper inventory accuracy through cycle counts and audits

Improve warehouse efficiency and processes to reduce handling time and cost

Your Qualifications

Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory, and regulatory requirements

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, Engineering, or related field

MBA or professional certifications (APICS, CPIM, CSCP) preferred

Experience

7–12 years of experience in supply chain management

Strong hands-on experience in demand planning and forecasting

Proven exposure to logistics, warehousing, and transporter management
