Description

These teams provide the financial fuel that keeps our operation running from providing detailed analyses of financial planning, performance, and forecasts to managing our investments and financial strategies. Our Finance team plays an integral role in making our airline profitable and successful by meeting our financial goals.

Job Overview And Responsibilities

This position supports Finance leadership in their roles as partner to the business. As such, this position is directly responsible for executing department strategy to ensure the accurate booking of financial data and for the creation of accurate budgets and forecasts which will be used for informed decision making and in providing accurate external financial guidance

• Lead and execute department strategy to ensure the accurate booking of financial data and for the creation of accurate budgets and forecasts which will be used for informed decision making and in providing accurate external financial guidance
• Utilizes models to generate annual plans and management reporting to showcase financial metrics at the flight /hub level
• Provides variance analysis and explanation to divisional leadership, senior leadership, and the Finance Department
• Significant ad-hoc project, budget and forecast scenario analysis will be required
• Support labor and procurement negotiations associated with the execution of contracts
• Responsible for direct reports of Financial Analysts including hiring and training
• Contribute and participate in meetings involving key business and finance issues
• Lead process improvement initiatives to ensure faster dissemination of reporting/insights to stakeholders
  
  

• Bachelor's degree
• At least 9+ years of related experience
• Must be legally authorized to work in India for any employer without sponsorship
• Must be fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
• Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
