Senior MAC Administrator

Location - Gurugram (On Site)

Responsibilities

• Administer the macOS fleet with Jamf Pro (MDM/MAM) in a co‑managed setup with Microsoft Intune.
• Design and operate enrolment/provisioning workflows; execute rebuilds, wipes, re‑enrolments, and de‑registrations.
• Integrate Jamf Pro with Intune for compliance; create and maintain macOS compliance policies.
• Configure and support Jamf Connect for Azure AD/Entra ID authentication and SSO. Implement and manage FileVault encryption, recovery key escrow, and recovery workflows.
• Apply macOS security baselines (CIS/organisational); manage PPPC, privacy controls, and system extensions (e.g., Defender, DLP).
• Package and deploy applications (PKG, scripts, smart groups) and manage configuration profiles.
• Govern OS updates, deferrals, and upgrade policies across Intel and Apple Silicon.
• Provide L2/L3 support and troubleshooting (login, MFA, network, certificates, applications); assist onboarding, replacements, and migrations; collaborate with the Service Desk.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and runbooks; automate repeatable tasks with shell scripts.
  
  

Your profile

The role centres on Jamf Pro administration in a co‑managed environment with Microsoft Intune, delivering Zero Trust endpoint capabilities that leverage cloud identity, Multi‑Factor Authentication, modern application authentication, and Zero Trust networking. You will design and run enrolment and provisioning workflows, harden devices to industry and organisational baselines, automate routine tasks, and provide L2/L3 support in partnership with the Service Desk.

Further we are looking for a candidate with the following professional competencies:

• Strong hands‑on Jamf Pro administration experience.
• Required experience is 6-12 years of experience and relevant 3-4 years of experience in MAC.
• Proven experience managing macOS at scale.
• Deep macOS troubleshooting skills across Intel and Apple Silicon.
• Knowledge of FileVault, recovery keys, secure boot, and related security concepts.
• Proficiency with shell scripting (bash/zsh) for automation and tooling.
  
  

Platform knowledge

• macOS Ventura, Sonoma, Sequoia (or latest supported versions).
• Apple Silicon and Intel Macs.
• Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (macOS) – preferred.
