Senior Geotechnical Engineer – HEP/PSP

What You'll Do

• Review and interpret geotechnical investigation data, including borehole logs, lab test results, and geophysical surveys.
• Prepare comprehensive Geotechnical Interpretation Reports to support critical design decisions.
• Assess ground conditions and recommend suitable tunneling methods and support systems.
• Design tunnels, shafts, slopes, and underground caverns using appropriate construction techniques.
• Perform finite element modeling and other numerical simulations to validate structural performance.
• Provide technical support during construction through site visits and review of contractor submissions.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure all design processes meet project requirements.
  
  

What You Bring

• Master's degree in Geotechnical engineering, civil engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in geotechnical design for tunneling and underground structures.
• Strong proficiency in finite element modeling software such as PLAXIS, FLAC, or equivalent tools.
• Solid understanding of ground investigation techniques and geotechnical data interpretation.
• Experience with tunnel boring machine selection, NATM, and cut-and-cover methods.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to produce clear technical reports in English.
• Willingness to travel for site visits and collaborate across international project teams.
