Senior Associate Delivery Lead-Project Finance

Job Title: Project Finance (Associate/ Sr Associate/ Delivery Lead/ Delivery Manager)

Location: Gurgaon

Work hours: 10am to 7pm IST

Department: Investment Banking

Experience Level : 2-8 Years

Job Purpose

0-2 months notice candidates preferred due to business need.

The candidate will work dedicatedly with an investment bank and will be responsible for handling projects, including detailed target screening and market updates & newsletters across Fintech and Capital Markets sectors. The candidate will be in direct interaction with client and responsible for final delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Creating / updating financial models for project finance companies
• Drafting deal memos, consultant report summaries, stakeholder analysis, exposure table, profitability and sensitivity analysis
• Also support on portfolio monitoring tasks including reviews, trigger reports, other portfolio tasks
• Supporting our clients on procuring buy side targets on weekly basis, which includes:
• Target company identification based on topic area direction
• Procuring contacts at the target
• Work on various work products related to M&A Buy or Sell side deal / Corporate Finance or Capital Market transactions
• Assist in preparing Pitch books including industry overview, company profiles, management biographies, broker outlook, share price performance analysis, deal case studies, peer valuation multiples etc.
• Work on financial analysis, industry benchmarking and valuation models
  
  

• Post-Graduation in Finance (MBA, CFA, CA etc.) or equivalent qualification
• Relevant experience of 2+ years supporting Investment banking division of a bank, consulting firm, boutique firm, advisory firm
• Experience on working primarily qualitative work as well as quantitative work
• The candidate should have the ability to work independently and possesses the management/leadership skills to run the research on a day-to-day basis and apply his insights to client ideas
• Sound knowledge and relevant work experience on industry and macro-economic overviews/ studies, competitive landscape, detailed company analysis, etc.
• Ability to work on complex jobs independently
• Expert knowledge on sector and country-specific data sources, such as CapIQ, PitchBook, SourceScrub, FactSet, Thomson and MergerMarket
• Strong communication skills to engage with the client and managing workflow
• MS Office skills - should be excellent in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word
