Senior Associate - Data Operations

What role will you play?

In this role, you will monitor, enhance, and automate data products within a controlled environment to ensure reliability and efficiency. This role requires close collaboration with various stakeholders across multiple divisions and technology teams responsible for maintaining data infrastructure. You will play a key part in driving operational improvements and supporting the delivery of high-quality data solutions.

What You Offer

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Analytics, Data Science, MIS, Computer Science, or equivalent relevant experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience building and maintaining data products, including dashboards and data pipelines
• Proficient in Alteryx, PowerBI, SQL, Python, and familiar with the AWS ecosystem
• Responsible for managing daily, weekly, and monthly data operations, ensuring data quality and timely issue resolution
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with global stakeholders

Our Risk Management Group works as an independent, and centralised function, responsible for independent and objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring and reporting in relation to Macquarie’s material risks. We are a global team that aims to manage the risks of today and anticipate the risks of tomorrow. Our divisions include compliance, credit, financial crime risk, market risk, operational risk, aggregate risk and prudential, and central.
