Job Purpose

The job role is in the Private Markets division at Acuity, one of the fastest growing segments within the firm. This opportunity is ideal for a private equity /investment banking / strategy consulting professional who is interested in working with leading global private equity funds and corporations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting a global private market firm towards credit compliance and ABL Borrowing base management on a monthly basis
• Reviewing and analyzing Credit agreements in details and constructing reporting framework
• Fixed Income Analysis - Rich Experience in credit, including debt analysis, covenant monitoring, cash flow conversion, etc.
• Creation of NAV line borrowing bases for loan draws and for any ad hoc event
• Valuation support – The candidate should have extensive knowledge in valuation methodologies like DCF and relative valuation
• Tracking/monitoring new and existing client investments and analyze valuation shared by GP on monthly, quarterly and annual basis
• In depth analysis of new Investments/deals and ensuring viability for all valuation assumptions support
• Deep understanding of private equity structure and working of PE funds
• Calculating ROI/MOIC, FMV, IRR for the new deals and existing investment portfolio
• Regular interaction with clients and supporting them by catering to their other ad-hoc requests

Key Competencies

• CFA/ MBA in Strategy, Finance, Operations or Economics
• 3-5 years of experience in strategy research and analysis, preferably across industries
• At least ~1-2 years of experience in managing a team, as well as directly communicating with clients, Experience in managing client communications solo will be considered an added advantage
• Experience in handling projects independently
• Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking skills, as evidenced by extensive experience in utilizing those skills in research and consulting environment. Adept at synthesizing information to generate insights
• Strong communication skills
