Our Technical Operations team is full of aircraft maintenance technicians, engineers, planners, ground equipment and facilities professionals, and supply chain teams that help make sure they’re well taken care of and ready to get our customers to their desired destinations. Job Overview And Responsibilities

  • Responsible for assigned product family/ ATA chapter purchasing to support Technical Operations
  • Communicates internally with Procurement, Logistics, Inventory Planning, Forecasting, and Data teams to ensure PO’s move from release to receipt
  • Holds suppliers accountable to estimated shipping dates
  • Understands, executes, and continuously improves purchasing in accordance with company policy and procedures
  • Ensures delivery and quality of services for all tactical requirements of goods and services in support of the airline operation
  • Understands current supplier performance related to on time delivery, exceptions, quality, and price changes
  • Resolves PO issues with suppliers and internal organizations
  • Can include any PO discrepancy such as damage claims, rejections, losses, return of materials, over-shipments, cancellations, and engineering charges
  • Responsible for maintaining process control of material and job activity with the objective of meeting expectations of the customer

This position is offered on local terms and conditions. Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded.

Qualifications

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

  • Associate degree or 2 years of relevant work experience in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business
  • 1+ years supply chain or related experience
  • Communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong overall computer skills and MS Office
  • Knowledge of purchasing and sourcing processes
  • Efficient with time and adaptable to changing priorities
  • Must be legally authorized to work in India for any employer without sponsorship
  • Must be fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
