Assess emerging technologies like bifacial modules, battery energy storage, and hybrid solutions for potential performance enhancements.
Keep abreast of industry developments to ensure the technology roadmap supports long-term profitability and compliance with relevant codes and standards.
EPC Selection and Tender Review
Lead or support the tendering process by preparing technical specifications, evaluating bids, and comparing EPC proposals against project objectives (cost, timeline, performance guarantees).
Conduct detailed contract reviews, focusing on scope, warranties, performance guarantees, and penalties.
Negotiate technical aspects of Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contracts to safeguard the IPP’s interests and ensure the highest ROI.
Design Optimization and Layout
Oversee the engineering design process to maximize energy yield (kWh/kW), focusing on module selection, inverter configuration, and plant layout.
Optimize the Balance of System (BoS) components (cabling, transformers, switchgear) to reduce losses and costs.
Ensure compliance with relevant standards, codes, and internal return-on-investment (ROI) targets.
Project Execution and Construction Oversight
Collaborate with chosen EPC contractors to establish project schedules, milestones, and quality benchmarks.
