Job Summary

The Analyst –Quoting is responsible for preparing accurate, competitive, and timely customer quotations by collaborating with Sales, Product, Finance, Service Delivery, and other cross functional teams. The role ensures compliance with pricing policies, turnaround time (TAT) expectations, and quality standards while supporting both standard and non-standard customer requirements.

Job Description

  • Quoting & Pricing Operations

 Prepare and deliver customer quotation requests with high accuracy and within defined SLAs.

 Analyse customer inputs, validate requirements, and follow pricing guidelines to prepare technically and commercially aligned quotes.

 Use quoting tools and systems (e.g., CPQ, Explore, Price Books, etc.) for quote creation and pricing validation.

 Work closely and collaboratively with the ONQT team to ensure correct and timely procurement of OLO costs.

 Validate costs, discounts, margins, and ensure necessary approvals are obtained as per pricing policies and governance.

 Manage revisions, re quotes, corrections, and clarifications throughout the quoting lifecycle.

  • RFP and Bid Support

 Support large RFPs and customer bid requests, as required by the business, by providing complete and accurate pricing.

 Coordinate with Customers, Product, Sales, and other internal teams to gather all necessary inputs for quote creation.

 Ensure all bid submissions adhere to prescribed formats, internal standards, approval guidelines, and audit/compliance requirements

  • Process & Documentation Governance

 Create, update, and maintain internal documentation such as customer specific work instructions, SOPs, issue logs, trackers, and other documents as required.

 Support continuous process improvements by identifying gaps and recommending enhancements.

 Ensure all documents remain updated as processes, tools, systems, or pricing methodologies evolve.

  • Systems, Tools & Product Knowledge

 Gather all relevant systems, tools, and product knowledge during the probation period.

 Participate in sessions related to processes, pricing tools, workflows, and systems, and adapt quickly to new tools, technologies, and processes.

 Maintain accuracy and completeness of data within quoting tools and process workflows.

 Stay updated on product portfolios, solution capabilities, and market trends to ensure accurate quotation preparation.

  • Team & Cross Functional Collaboration Functional Collaboration

 Work closely with Sales, Product, Finance, ONQT, and other teams to ensure alignment on pricing and commercial terms.

 Provide support and guidance to Sales and the Ordering team on pricing/quoting processes and policies.

 Support knowledge sharing for new team members on tools, systems, pricing rules, and quoting processes

  • Reporting & Data Quality

 Maintain accurate and audit ready documentation of - quotes, issue logs, cleansing reports, and other trackers. ready documentation of

 Understanding of reports on quote volumes, turnaround times, win/loss analysis, and pricing performance. Generate reports if required.

 Ensure high data quality, consistency, and compliance across all quoting tools and systems.

Key Requirements

 Strong analytical and numerical ability with excellent attention to detail.

 Good verbal and written communication skills for customer and stakeholder collaboration.

 Ability to work under pressure while maintaining timelines, accuracy, and service quality.

 Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and quoting/pricing tools (e.g., CPQ).

 Understanding pricing, cost structures, and commercial terminology.

 Customer focused and quality driven mindset.

 Proactive approach with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast paced environment.
