ECD plays a critical role as it adds value to Bains case teams globally by supporting them with analytics and research solutioning across all industries, specific domains for corporate cases, client development, private equity diligence or Bain intellectual property. The BCN comprises of Consulting Services, Knowledge Services and Shared Services.

Who you will work with

The Commercial Excellence, Coro CoE within BCN focuses on delivering data-driven solutions to drive sustainable, organic growth in the B2B domain through advanced analytics, data operations, and visualization. Deeply plugged into CORO – the SaaS product solutions within Commercial Excellence. Building deep expertise in Alteryx, Tableau, Python and ML/Data Analytics. We are the only COE with a dedicated Automation team for driving innovation.

What youll do

• Provide thought leadership and sound business judgment to drive the team’s data analysis on Commercial Excellence cases across geographies

• Brainstorming with the Manager on various aspects of case work which ranges across multiple workstreams of data operations including data modeling, implementing ML algorithms ranging from regression, Random forest, boosting techniques  and product development etc.

• Identify and employ new and relevant data ETL sources, analytical and statistical tools, ML modeling and Gen AI techniques, database management techniques etc.

• Ensure timely, high quality, error-free research, analysis and output produced by the analysts/associates

• Driving insights through data analysis – Story-lining the deliverable to prove/disprove hypotheses

• Communicate data and clearly explain insights and implications for the client

• Effectively communicate with Bain case teams from any global office, global Practice Area affiliates and third party analytics vendors

• Consistently provide responsible feedback in all interactions; recognize team’s development needs and provide feedback toward constant improvement

• Provide coaching and mentoring to COE Analysts and Associates

• Participate in annual COE/BCN resource planning and development

• Assist on Office Management roles (e.g. recruiting, marketing, training, etc.)

About you

• Candidates should be graduates/post-graduates / MBA from top-tier colleges with strong academic record and 5+ years of h a n d s - o n industry experience in data analytics or consulting with marketing analytics exposure.
• Candidates should possess excellent analytical, work planning, communication and team skills 
• Prior experience with data analytics, project management, team management, coaching and mentoring is important
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Python and SQL is required. Proficiency in GenAI, Alteryx, Tableau and exposure to cloud environment like AWS/Azure will be preferred.
