Material - Senior AI Engineer

We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer with hands-on experience in Agentic AI systems and SAP Joule AI to design, develop, and scale intelligent applications for enterprise environments. The role involves building AI agents, LLM-powered applications, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions, ensuring seamless integration with enterprise systems and delivering scalable, reliable AI solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement agentic AI workflows and intelligent agents for enterprise use cases.
• Integrate AI solutions with SAP Joule AI and relevant enterprise applications.
• Develop and optimize LLM-based applications, including chatbots, copilots, and automation tools.
• Build and maintain RAG pipelines, embedding workflows, and vector-based retrieval systems.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to design and deliver scalable AI solutions.
• Test, debug, and optimize AI applications for performance, reliability, and accuracy.
• Integrate AI services with enterprise systems using REST APIs and microservices architecture.
  
  

• 4 - 7 years of experience in AI/ML engineering or software development, with relevant hands-on AI application development experience.
• Mandatory hands-on experience with SAP Joule AI.
• Strong experience with Agentic AI frameworks such as LangChain, CrewAI, or AutoGen.
• Proficiency in Python and AI development tools.
• Experience working with LLM APIs and open-source language models.
• Understanding of prompt engineering, embeddings, vector databases, and RAG architectures.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and microservices architecture.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and collaboration skills.
• Exposure to the SAP ecosystem, enterprise applications, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and DevOps/CI/CD practices for AI systems is an advantage.
