Designation Manager Technical- Asset Transition Experience 8-12 Years Qualification AME/B.Tech (Aeronautics) Location Gurugram No Of Vacancies 2 Job Specification The Manager – Technical Aircraft Transition will be responsible for planning, managing, and executing aircraft delivery and redelivery projects, ensuring compliance with contractual technical conditions, regulatory requirements, and agreed project timelines. The role requires a strong understanding of aircraft maintenance, technical records, lease return conditions, aircraft configuration, and the commercial implications of technical findings. The successful candidate will serve as a key interface between aircraft lessors, airlines, MROs, OEMs, CAMO organisations, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth, timely, and cost-effective aircraft transitions. Roles & Responsibilities The Manager – Technical Aircraft Transition manages end-to-end delivery and redelivery projects for commercial narrow-body and wide-body fleets while reviewing lease agreements, return conditions, delivery specs, and maintenance requirements. Working with clients and stakeholders, the role develops transition plans, project schedules, action trackers, and deliverables, while actively monitoring technical status, maintenance inputs, open defects, and contractual compliance. Key duties include coordinating physical inspections, records reviews, maintenance tasks, and handover documentation, alongside identifying technical and contractual risks to prevent delays, cost overruns, or disputes. Additionally, the position supports negotiations and technical discussions to resolve discrepancies, open items, and return-condition issues. Skills Approximately 8–12 years of relevant experience in aircraft maintenance, technical services, aircraft transition, technical records, CAMO, or aviation asset management. Demonstrated experience in aircraft delivery and redelivery projects, preferably for aircraft lessors and airlines. Strong knowledge of aircraft technical records, maintenance programmes, AD/SB compliance, LLP traceability, modifications, repairs, and aircraft configuration. Familiarity with aircraft lease return conditions and the technical aspects of lease agreements.
