Lead Electrical Engineer – Gas Infrastructure

We are looking for a seasoned Lead Electrical Engineer to join our growing team in India. You will lead the design of electrical systems for first-of-its-kind gas infrastructure projects with global impact. If you thrive on technical challenges and want your work to matter, this role is for you.

What You'll Do

• Lead the preparation and review of Single Line Diagrams, electrical layouts, and detailed schematics for gas infrastructure and pipeline projects.
• Develop design basis reports, philosophies, and specifications for electrical systems across FEED, detailed engineering, and EPC phases.
• Perform and validate critical electrical calculations including cable sizing, voltage drop analysis, short circuit studies, transformer selection, and DG/UPS/battery sizing.
• Prepare load schedules, equipment sizing, and power distribution studies to ensure reliable system performance.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams including mechanical, process, instrumentation, and civil engineers for integrated project delivery.
• Interface with clients, vendors, and EPC contractors for technical alignment, reviews, and approvals.
• Support site activities, commissioning, and troubleshooting to ensure successful project execution.
  
  

What You Bring

• A minimum of 12 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably within consulting focused on oil and gas or gas infrastructure.
• A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is mandatory; a postgraduate qualification is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of international codes and standards including SEC, IS, American, British, and European standards.
• Proven ability to lead engineering deliverables and coordinate across disciplines and geographies.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to manage priorities across multiple projects simultaneously.
• A collaborative mindset with interpersonal skills to work effectively in diverse, international teams.
