Customer Account Operations (CAO), part of HP's Global Revenue Operations organisation, plays a critical role in delivering a world-class customer and sales experience across HP's largest and most complex customers. The team acts as the operational bridge between customers, sales, supply chain, finance, services, and other cross-functional partners, ensuring seamless execution throughout the customer lifecycle. From order management and deal implementation to operational governance, escalations, customer reporting, and business reviews, CAO professionals drive operational excellence, enhance customer satisfaction, and enable business growth.
Global Revenue Operations brings together customer experience, sales enablement, pricing, channel operations, transformation, and revenue optimization functions to help HP operate more efficiently, scale globally, and deliver outstanding outcomes for customers, partners, and employees
Responsibilities
Manages a team of individual contributors and supervisors across multiple job families within the sales operations function providing guidance and ensuring they are aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
Sets the direction for assigned teams and holds accountability for the deliverables while managing expenses effectively.
Fosters strategic relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to create cutting-edge solutions for customers and partners, leveraging both internal and external resources.
Manages the execution of operational processes across a complete sales cycle to meet service-level objectives and targets.
Offers consulting expertise to project and account teams in developing customer-centric solutions and provides feedback on processes and capabilities.
Ensures that expense objectives are met while maintaining the team's effectiveness in supporting sales operations.
Drives continuous improvement in sales operations processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Manages recruitments, performance goals, and career development, ensuring the availability of necessary tools and resources to support the team and optimize processes.
Utilizes customer and sales data to generate insights for customer and business decisions.
Ensures all customer issues and concerns are addressed, resolved, or escalated in compliance with legal and organizational policies.
Education & Experience Recommended
Four-year or Graduate Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Accounting, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
Typically has 7-10 years of job-related experience or 5-7 years of management experience, preferably in sales, sales support, people management, sales process improvement, or a related field.
