The Role: Legal, Governance & Compliance Operations Manager, Automation

The Team: The SPGMI Legal, Governance & Compliance team (LGC) advises the S&P Global Market Intelligence (SPGMI) organization on various matters and business initiatives. The LGC Operations Manager, Automation will focus on optimizing current legal, compliance and governance workflows that will deliver business needs and measure key performance indicators or other metrics. This role will design, deliver and implement automated and AI enhancements to achieve efficiency while ensuring legal, governance and compliance requirements are met.

Responsibilities And Impact

  • Lead a team to identify bottlenecks in manual processes and replace them with automated workflow.
  • Understand legal contracting workflows to upgrade current CLM features to provide a more robust and intuitive Quote to Cash lifecycle.
  • Establish procedure and process standards related to automation transformation including roadmaps, user stories, user acceptance testing and quality assurance.
  • Maintain agile mindset to continuously improve processes with technology upgrades.
  • Align and collaborate with other operational stakeholders in creating strategic solutions.

What We’re Looking For

Basic Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience in legal technology or product management focused on workflow automation.
  • Experience in designing and deploying AI enabled automation.
  • Proficiency with CLM management platforms or automated template.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce (certification preferred), Microsoft applications (SharePoint, Power Automate), and automation implementation tools.

Additional Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to translate business and legal requirements and anticipated results with both IT teams and legal professionals
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
  • Working shift can be flexible: EMEA or Americas or Hybrid of both.
