Junior Finance Associate

About the Role:

We are hiring a Graduate or CA Inter-qualified professional with a strong foundation in accounting, bookkeeping, taxation, and statutory compliance. This role is ideal for someone looking to apply their academic knowledge in a real-world, fast-moving financial services environment. You will play an active role in maintaining books of accounts, assisting with audits, preparing reports, and supporting financial operations in a broking environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounting & Bookkeeping:
• Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally/ERP.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and ledger reconciliations.
• Ensure timely closure of books and preparation of trial balances.
• Banking & Reconciliations:
• Handle daily bank reconciliations and monitor fund flows.
• Reconcile intercompany and client accounts periodically.
• Track outstanding balances and coordinate for settlements.
• Statutory & Regulatory Compliance:
• Assist in preparing GST returns, TDS workings, and other tax compliances.
• Work on preparation and filing of ROC and SEBI-related documents under guidance.
• Coordinate with consultants/auditors for monthly and annual audits.
• MIS & Reporting:
• Prepare MIS reports, cash flow statements, and expense trackers.
• Assist senior finance team in budgeting and variance analysis.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness in all financial reporting activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Graduate or Semi-Qualified CA (CA Inter)
• Prior experience in a CA firm
• Hands-on experience with Tally Prime
• Good working knowledge of TDS, GST, and statutory/compliance filings
• Exposure to accounting, taxation, and regulatory compliance
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a deadline-driven team environment
