Our Government & Public Sector (G&PS) practice is growing, and we are seeking a talented and motivated Senior Associate to join our Urban & Housing Advisory team. This is an exciting opportunity to be an integral part of high-impact projects that are shaping the future of urban India. 

As a Senior Associate, you will work closely with project managers and senior leadership to deliver analytical insights and robust solutions to our government clients. You will be a key contributor to engagements focused on Urban Development, Housing, and Real Estate, applying your financial and analytical skills to solve complex challenges. 


Responsibilities 

  • Project Delivery & Execution: 
  • Support the project lead in managing and delivering consulting en:gagements for government and public sector clients. 
  • Contribute to the preparation of high-quality deliverables, including feasibility reports, financial analysis, presentations, and policy notes. 
  • Take ownership of specific project workstreams and ensure timely completion with a high degree of accuracy. 
  • Financial Analysis & Modelling: 
  • Develop, analyze, and maintain detailed Financial Models to evaluate project viability, cash flows, and funding structures. 
  • Conduct comprehensive Financial Feasibility studies and economic analysis for urban infrastructure and housing projects. 
  • Assist in Project Structuring on Public Private Partnership (PPP) models, including financial analysis of risk allocation and payment mechanisms. 
  • Bid Process & Procurement Management: 
  • Provide hands-on support for Bid Process Management for large-scale government projects. 
  • Possess a sound knowledge of the End-to-End Procurement process, from preparation of bid documents (RFQ, RFP) to bid closing. 
  • Play a key role in Bid Evaluation, including technical and financial analysis of received proposals, and preparation of evaluation reports. 
  • Assist in drafting and reviewing Contractual Documentation, such as concession agreements, development agreements, and service level agreements. 
  • Sector-Specific Advisory: 
  • Conduct Demand Assessment and market analysis as part of Real Estate Advisory engagements. 
  • Support the team in providing strategic advice on land monetization, urban planning, and housing policy. 
  • Team & Client Collaboration: 
  • Work effectively as part of a project team, collaborating with colleagues and supporting the supervisory team in driving the project forward. 
  • Participate in client meetings, workshops, and presentations, effectively communicating analytical findings. 

Qualifications & Experience 
  • Education: An MBA, preferably with a specialization in Finance, from a reputable institution. 
  • Experience: 4 to 5 years of relevant professional experience in the Urban and Housing sector. 
  • Domain Expertise: Strong experience working on Government projects related to Urban Development, Urban Infrastructure or Real Estate Development. 

Required Skills & Competencies 

Mandatory skill sets:
  • Financial Modelling & Feasibility: Strong proficiency in building and interpreting financial models in MS Excel. 
  • Procurement & Bidding: In-depth understanding of the end-to-end government procurement cycle, bid evaluation methodologies, and bid process management. 
  • PPP & Project Structuring: Good understanding of PPP principles and financial structuring. 
  • Real Estate Analysis: Experience in conducting demand assessments and market studies for real estate projects. 
  • Contractual Knowledge: Familiarity with key contractual documents used in infrastructure and real estate projects.
