Job Description & Summary:

A career in Finance, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to help PwC in all aspects of our Finance internal function including financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and assisting leadership with overall strategy. You’ll focus on recording and analysing financial transactions, paying and receiving invoices, maintaining financial statement ledger accounts, and preparing analysis and reconciliations of bills to detect fraud.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain strong business relations with engagement teams and stakeholders.
  • Review and produce analytical reports to support monthly collection targets and daily monitoring.
  • Provide decision support to business units, understanding financial implications.
  • Exercise judgment within policies to resolve customer issues with a client-centric approach.
  • Manage business problems independently with minimal escalation to senior management.
  • Supervise team, assign tasks, review work, and ensure proper documentation.
  • Resolve sensitive and confidential issues promptly as per established procedures.
  • Prepare and ensure timely submission of monthly reports for CFO, Financial Controller, Internal Audit, and business stakeholders.
  • Control and quality check Accounts Receivable activities.
  • Review monthly schedules, collection follow-ups, 26AS reports, and other key periodic reports with attention to detail.
  • Ensure smooth monthly closing activities, including period closure and opening.
  • Assist in bank reconciliations and clearing open items.
  • Ensure timely provisioning for doubtful and bad debts.
  • Identify process, technology, and procedure issues; recommend and implement improvements.
  • Drive technological enhancements and automation to improve efficiency.
  • Stay updated on best market practices and embed them within the team.
  • Communicate process updates and changes regularly to the team.
  • Collaborate effectively with other finance functions, providing and requesting necessary information.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of RCSA, KQIs, and statutory requirements.
  • Address audit points efficiently and avoid escalations.
  • Manage business-as-usual (BAU) activities with high accuracy and no escalations.
  • Report WHT certificate data timely to Line of Service when certificates are delayed.
  • Prepare/review financial reports as per guidelines from Manager/Financial Controller.
  • Support continuous process improvement to enable more value-added activities by the team.

B.Com, BBA, MBA, M.Com, PGDEducation Level: Graduate – B.com/ BBA / Bachelor’s degree

Post Graduate - MBA/PGDM (Finance), M.Com with strong accounting skills
