GSPANN - Senior Boomi Integration Developer Lead

About The Role

We are looking for an experienced Boomi Integration professional with strong expertise in integration development, middleware technologies, API management, and enterprise application connectivity. The role involves designing, developing, deploying, and supporting scalable integrations across enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and deploy integration processes using the Boomi platform.
• Build and maintain integrations across enterprise applications, including ERP, CRM, Order Management Systems (OMS), eCommerce platforms, and third-party systems.
• Configure and manage Boomi connectors such as API/HTTP, SFTP, Database, Kafka, Google Pub/Sub, Salesforce, and SAP.
• Develop API integrations using REST and SOAP services, ensuring reliable communication and data exchange across applications.
• Implement data transformation and mapping logic using XML, JSON, XSLT, and other relevant integration patterns.
• Design and support event-driven integrations using messaging and streaming technologies.
• Manage Boomi APIs, environments, deployments, process schedules, and integration configurations.
• Implement appropriate error handling, logging, monitoring, retry mechanisms, and alerting to improve integration reliability.
• Troubleshoot integration failures, perform root cause analysis, and resolve production issues within agreed service levels.
• Develop and support EDI integrations using standards such as X12 and EDIFACT, including AS2 communication and Trading Partner Management.
• Collaborate with business analysts, solution architects, application teams, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical integration solutions.
• Participate in integration architecture discussions, technical design reviews, effort estimation, and implementation planning.
• Prepare technical specifications, interface mappings, deployment documentation, and operational support procedures.
• Follow development standards, version control practices, testing processes, and release management procedures.
• Support integration modernisation initiatives, including migration from legacy middleware platforms to Boomi.
• For lead-level responsibilities, provide technical guidance, review integration designs and code, mentor developers, and drive delivery quality across integration projects.
  
  

• 10 - 18 years of overall experience in integration, middleware, or enterprise application development, with substantial hands-on experience in Boomi.
• Strong hands-on expertise in the Boomi platform, including process design, integration development, API management, and deployment management.
• Experience with Boomi connectors such as API/HTTP, SFTP, Database, Kafka, Google Pub/Sub, Salesforce, and SAP.
• Strong understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, XML, JSON, XSLT, data mapping, and transformation patterns.
• Experience integrating enterprise applications across ERP, CRM, OMS, eCommerce, and external platforms.
• Knowledge of event-based integration patterns, messaging, and asynchronous processing.
• Experience with Boomi process monitoring, error handling, logging, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Understanding of integration testing, deployment management, release processes, and environment configuration.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• For lead-level positions, experience in solution design, technical reviews, stakeholder management, mentoring, and technical delivery oversight.
